During the 2014-2015 academic year, the Faculty of Education accepted our first students to the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling, the Department of Gifted Children’s Education, and Teacher Training Program for Intellectually Disabled Children. With the restructuring process of the Faculty of Education, starting from 2016-2017 academic year, our faculty will continue to welcome students to the Department of educational Sciences, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling and the Department of Special Education.
Our ultimate objective is to raise questioning and innovative individuals who can think both critically and analytically. Along with problem-solving skills, we encourage them to respect national and international values while adopting scientific approaches.
For this purpose, our faculty will continue to provide an academic curriculum involving the necessary professional and general knowledge regarding their specific field of study. Coupled with the guidance of our qualified instructors, students will develop projects and activities as well as cultivate and improve their department-specific skills and knowledge. We wish our students to become successful teachers in their field of study and build a bright future for the benefit of mankind.
